On Sunday, December 2, 2007, a one-day technical visit was held to the Kallidromo railway tunnel of ERGOSE. The Kallidromo tunnel is a twin tunnel 9.3 km long. which is part of the Athens - Thessaloniki high-speed railway line, in the Tithorea-Leianokladi-Domokos section. It is the longest railway tunnel in Greece and all of the Balkans.
Visit Program
• Departure by coach on Sunday morning (8:00) from Karaiskaki Square, Metaxourgeio stop. Metro - Line 2
• Transfer to the Tithorea construction site, approximately 1 ½ hours.
• Reception by ERGOSE with coffee and refreshments
• Presentation of the underground project, approximately 1 hour.
• Visit of the underground project from the South front of the tunnel, duration approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours
• Hospitality lunch provided by ERGOSE
• Departure around 5:30 – 6:00 pm and return around 8:00 pm
